1. I have seven kids.
2. Three of mine are by biology.
3. Four are step children.
4. We have custody of and I stay home with and raise two of the four step kids.
5. One of my step sons is severely mentally handicapped.
6. This brings more challenges to my life then I ever thought possible.
7. But It also brings much joy, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.
8. I have known my husband since I was 14.
9. But we did not really get together until I was 22.
10. That was after we both were already married to someone else.
11. And divorced from those people.
12. I am a SAHM.
13. I have two associate degrees and a bachelors degree.
14. Our newest baby is an IVF baby – the only “ours” in the bunch!
15. I really enjoy reality TV.
16. I finally have come full circle in my belief and love for the LORD.
17. We recently painted the walls in our home rust orange with a faux antique finish, and it looks amazing.
18. We just got new carpet also.
19. Now that we started making changes to the house, all I see is what I want to still do instead of what we have already done.
20. Things about the human psyche like the above statement constantly baffle me.
21. Why is it so hard to appreciate what you have instead of focusing on what you don’t?
22. I love the statement “I know I am not who I want to be, but thank you Lord that I am not who I used to be.” I think it describes my outlook on life perfectly.
23. Being a mom is the hardest and most rewarding job there is, and I desperatly wish we got more credit for what we do.
24. I have dramatically changed since the birth of my baby, and so far I really like who I have become.
25. I am calmer, nicer, and I see life for the gift that it is. I no longer let people get the best of me, it just is not worth it.
